EasyBooth MultiCam Software

The EasyBooth MultiCam software allows the use of multiply webcams, up to 9 at once, to speedily create great looking photos and animated GIFs and Videos, with optional overlays and company logos, and even video audio effects,

all of which can be sent directly to guests smart phones, emailed to email addresses or printed out as a strip

All within literally seconds.

The EasyBooth MultiCam software was created out of the need to create these great animation files which clients everywhere wanted, but ourselves not wanting to spend thousands of pounds/dollars on expensive multiply DSLR cameras and multiply purchases of individual licences for software to control them.  Whilst MultiCam was not written to replace the large commercial hardware or software creating specialized animations, it is totally suitable, and specifically written for smaller tasks such a photobooths where speed is a real priority.

Create your own background images, graphics and audio to totally customise the look and feel for your specific requirements whilst still keeping the simplicity of use for operators and guests.  Create great optimised photos, animated GIFs and videos and offer your clients something everyone wants, but at a fraction of the cost of other hardware and software.

EasyBooth MultiCam Reference Information

General Setup Tab

Event Title:  This is the Title Name for your event.  Each event should be given an individual name.  The valid input characters are A-Z, a-z, 0-9 and _.  An _ will automatically be placed when a space has been used.

Logo Overlay:  This should be the logo of your company and which will be displayed on all final results.  To change the current MultiCam logo create your own by editing the file “Logo.png” in the Overlays folder.  If no logo is wanted at all then create a blank transparent graphic named “Logo.png” and save into the Overlays folder.

Camera Delay (ms):  This is the amount of time (in milliseconds) between shots taken from each camera.  The lower the number the quicker the time between shots taken which when all combined together create the final animation from the different camera positions.  The faster the system then slower the number can be.  A case of test your system to see what works well for your particular system.

Show Cursor:  This option allows you to either display the windows cursor when running MultiCam or not display it.

Idle Screens:  Select whether you wish to display 3 idle screens after the booth has been idle for 3 minutes.  Create your own idle screens at 1920x1080 pixels (Idle_Screen_1.jpg, Idle_Screen_2.jpg and Idle_Screen_3.jpg) and replace the current files in C:\MultiCam\Screens.

Display Counters:  This allows the operator to see the number of Sessions, SMS’s, Emails and Prints completed during the event.

Button Width/Height:  Allows the resizing of the main buttons to fit the width of the screen.  Smaller number, smaller buttons.

Photo Countdown:  This is the number of seconds counted down with display with audio before the camera shots are taken.

Countdown Audio:  Choose from either a Voice countdown or Beep countdown for the chosen Photo Countdown.

Audio Prompts:  Select to hear audio prompts for the stages of creating the animations.

Output Format:  The final output format can be of animated GIF (limited to 256 colours) or MP4 Video.  Both formats are supported by all the latest web browsers.

Animation Speed:  Choose different animation speeds for your final animated GIF or MP4 Video from Slow to Faster.

Display Thumbnails:  This allows the viewing of thumbnails of photos taken during the photo session.

Cameras Found:  Displays the number of Logitech C920 webcams found by Windows and available to MultiCam.  The maximum number is 9 webcams with Low end systems capable of handling 1-3, Mid range systems capable of handling 1-5 and High end systems capable of handling 1-9.  A case of testing your individual system to see what it can handle and suggest just adding 1 camera at a time after number 3 and running MultiCam (if it hangs after adding the latest camera, remove it and restart system).

Photo Effect:  Choose either Colour or Grayscale for photos.

Morph People:  Choose to display either 1 or 2 head overlay when taking Morphing Photos.

Typical Review of MultiCam

”....We took the very wise decision to change our photo-booth software, to MultiCam as we found that our current software was fairly limited on what it could do and achieve... and seemed ‘outdated’.  Multi-Cam, on the other hand is very user friendly – both from an operator and customers’ point of view.  With an incredible range of different options to choose from, we now feel ‘spoiled for choice!’.....photos, videos, videos with funny voices, overlays, multi-camera and lots lots more!! It installed without any issues (which we have experienced before with other software) and since installation, it has been very reliable, stable and without issues.  Anthony has done (and is still doing) an excellent job with this software and we are very excited about the up and coming additions that he is working on!.....well done"
